Exec: Wintershall Dea, Gazprom eye pumping hydrogen via pipelines
MOSCOW, Mar 2 (PRIME) -- Wintershall Dea and Gazprom are discussing hydrogen pumping via the existing gas transportation system, CEO of the German company Mario Mehren told Gazprom's corporate magazine in an interview released late on Monday.
"Under a scientific and technical cooperation program between Gazprom and Wintershall Dea, experts of our companies and joint ventures are discussing the current innovative projects in search of ideas and joint production of solutions. This initiative has been there for almost 30 years and is one of the largest and most intensive formats of exchange of this kind," Mehren said.
He also said that Wintershall Dea and Gazprom plan to hold a campaign of methane emission metering on their joint ventures in 2021.
